The Miami Heat are offering all Dwyane Wade merchandise for $13 on Friday as part of a day-long celebration of the star guard’s 13 years with the team.

In addition to the merchandise sale, the Heat will honor Wade with photo galleries, graphics and videos on the team’s digital and social media platforms; images of Wade on the 3,400 square foot LED marquee at AmericanAirline Arena; and full-page ads in the three major South Florida newspapers.

It’s nice to see the team not holding any grudges after Wade inked a two-year, $47 million deal with the Eastern Conference rival Bulls.

Meanwhile in Chicago, while Doug McDermott has agreed to let Wade wear No. 3 with the Bulls, retailers are not expecting replica screen-printed Wade jerseys until next month and $110 embroidered authentic jerseys until November, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Retailer Chicago Sports does expect to have $32 Wade T-shirts in stock by next week.

"We don't want to go too long without having some type of apparel to sell them," owner Luke Pesha said.

The store co

uld use the inventory — it marked down Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol jerseys by 50 percent as those players left town.
